The Definitive Guide to Otan

Otan is a world of wonder and fantasy from the mind of Robyn Blaber. It was originally created as notes for a series of fantasy novels, currently underway. In the meantime, it is serving double duty as a repository for gaming, specifically Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition.

So far, nearly two dozen people have experienced life on Otan first hand, travelling between countries, sampling the food and meeting the people. Otan is a perfectly good setting for low level parties, but rather a great setting for high level parties, with intrigue around every corner.

Welcome to the Lands of Otan Wiki

This wiki was created to manage the fantasy world of Otan, while it was originally created for a fantasy novel series, it will provide an excellent resource for Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition campaign or any similar game setting. Official Otan rules for games such as D&D 5e and Pathfinder may soon follow.

Of course, elements specific to other games will not find their way into the Otan novels, there may be crossover in any future published rules to make Otan D&D 5e or Pathfinder compatible. The author is similarly working on his own gaming system that may come available early next year.

Exploring Sewoch

Map of Sewoch

Like most things Otan is part of something bigger. While the Otan continent occupies the northern hemisphere of it's world, the southern hemisphere is occupied by East and West Sewoch. There is little about Sewoch that a traveller from Otan would find familiar, not the people, cultures, politics or religions. Take a look:
