Before our party had gathered in a tavern called The Sleepy Hollow in the town of Maral, Soltustik, they had met previously and survived an adventure together.

Ebil Yalies, a 35 year old human looking cleric of Bragi was traveling through the snowy lands with his noble mastiff, Desi, when he happened upon a small hamlet near the town of Maral. He was accompanied by Arisa Petrine who he had met just the previous day and were heading in the same direction. Apparently, Desi had detected the scent of other mastiffs which is what got the pair talking on their common trek about mastiffs and their mutual affinity for treasure & adventure.

As Ebil & Arisa were within earshot of the small hamlet, they stumbled upon Ninon Salvo, a Ungir Bard who was traveling through. Ebil, a lover of music, asked the bard to accompany them in the direction of their travels and play a song as they entered the village.

The elders were quite intrigued by this odd assortment of three newcomers entering their village. The locals had been plagued by risen skeletons and realizing that a cleric had found his way into their hamlet unlisted his assistance in dispatching the skeletons. Ebil could not refuse the request to assist those in need and asked Ninon & Arisa if they would assist. The elder of the village introduced him to Raqim Anuar, a human wizard who was traveling through on his way to pick up a book from a nearby wizard and had been in the hamlet for a few days trying to study the source of the undead infestation.

The elder also introduced two others who had recently arrived in the hamlet and for a fee had promised to assist the locals with the undead problem. Ornel Harlhorne and Lirris Liadon, both rugged looking sword for hire types.

The next day this newly formed assortment quickly dispatched the undead threat and they were all hailed "hero's of the hamlet". In fact, a local lady gave birth to a baby on that day and proudly named the baby Ebil!
