Zoranthar Zhanat is a prominent member of the Council of Nine and permanent resident of the Towers of Eriquat. He was also one of the principal signers of the Concord of Kala Astanals and one of the primary instigators of the Grendel War.
History[edit]
Zoranthar Zhanat always had a flare for the different and as a young warlock, he took up the dark arts with zeal. He came to fall in love with a Grendel woman, who was also skilled in the dark arts. His love had barely had a chance to blossom before his beloved was killed by raiding bandits. The bandits, Soltustikters were acting, he surmised out of a general distaste for the Grendel. Their racism fueled an intense hatred for humans within him and it was then he decided to champion the Grendel in taking a more prominent place among Otani society.
