In the Fourteenth Tertiary Session the party continued to explore the Misik ruins. After an uneventful overnight rest, the party slept soundly save a skittering sound heard coming from within the ruins as they slept.
Further Exploration[edit]
Awoken and refreshed, the party began to check the floors once again for magical wards. They discovered that one had been repaired or possibly replaced overnight and quickly began to attempt to dispel their magic. Their resistance to being dispelled was evident, but one was dispelled, when Ebil Yalies stepped over a ward, that was previously dispelled. It was working again. The party braced. The lights in the room came on. An experiment or two later and the party deduced that the wards were merely controls for the lights.
The party examined three more rooms. One room had a larger pair of sarcophogi, larger than the ones they had previously tampered with. This room had various implements on the shelves inside it. Another circular room had a floor-to-ceiling glowing cylinder in the center, covered in various ancient Misik runes. The last room also had a single small sarcophogus. Within this sarcophogus lay the bones and long-since decayed-to-dust flesh of a cat-like human.
Ruminations[edit]
As the party explored, Ebil Yalies collected up most if not all of the implements on the sills for future identification. The party looked if they could match any of the tools to the large sarcophogi. Finally they cast some magical spells and after more investigation discovered one implement for removing a part from the clockwork cats (now all destroyed) and one for dropping the meme into its pool. With that last discovery, they decided to drop away.
With little effort Raqim Anuar was able to lower the meme into the appropriate slot in the pool.
Voices of the Dead[edit]
The party donned a morbid sense and decided that with Ebil's help, they could speak with this long dead Misik from the previous room.
