Eladrin

The eladrin elves are a magical folk of otherworldly grace, living in the world but not entirely part of it. They are creatures of magic with strong ties to nature and live in the twilight realm of the Feywild. Their cities sometimes cross over to the Material Plane, appearing briefly in mountain valleys or deep forest glades before fading back into the Feywild.

Darkvision

Accustomed to twilit forests and the night sky, they have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. They can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. They can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

Keen Senses

Eladrin elves are very perceptive.

Fey Ancestry

They are dificult to charm and magic can’t put them to sleep.

Trance

Eladrin elves don’t need to sleep. Instead, they meditate deeply, remaining semiconscious, for 4 hours a day. (The Common word for such meditation is “trance.”) While meditating, they can dream after a fashion; such dreams are actually mental exercises that have become reflexive through years of practice. After resting in this way, they gain the same benefit that a human does from 8 hours of sleep.

Fey Step

They have the ability to step, transport themselves a short distance, to a spot of their choosing 10 yards away in the blink of an eye.
