The Circle of Draconic Breath Absorption creates a 5-foot-radius, circle of magical energy centered on a point on the ground that the caster can physically touch with a paintbrush and paint or other appropriate mark-making items. Glowing runes appear wherever the circle intersects with the floor or other surface.
The caster may choose one of the following types of draconic breath to absorb: acid, lightning, fire, poison, or cold.
- Any dragon's breath blown toward or within 10 feet of the circle's edge will be redirected into the circle and absorbed.
- Once the circle has absorbed it's maximum number of hit dice, any remaining breath energy will act normally.
- Targets within the circle will be unharmed by the draconic breath, provided that the energy is absorbed by the circle.
