The Thirty-sixth Session began with the party once again enjoying their partial victory over the Garis including the rescue of the Air Quralisi who was enslaved to create airships.

Erbol's Place[edit]

The party makes a side trip to Halperion to visit with an old friend, Rayjok Halperion who rejoins the adventure to reclaim the missing Fire Builder.

A Visit to Hedgewind[edit]

Hedgewind Jalinbeti is consulted with. A consensus not to provoke the Council of Nine is reached. Obsidian Black visits Hedgewind's lab to see what all the fuss is about.

Gateway to Where?[edit]

The Towers of Eriquat seem someone impenetrable, but the party is drawn further to examine a strange magic circle inscribed in the ground at the location that Athin Alionel is drawn to. The circle turns out to be a portal that can be instinctively opened by Mira Nephilim. The party notices immediately that they are nowhere near where they started. The sun is in the wrong place.

Four-Armed Bastards[edit]

The players, apparently in territory occupied by people known only previously to them as 'four-armed bastards', are discovered bathing the unconscious Fire Builder in lava. It's some kind of ceremony to which they were clearly not invited.

A fight ensues and Obsidian Black does some heavy damage with a reverse gravity spell. To his astonishment, the spell worked, but something changed everything and the enemy combatants were back. Obsidian tried again, this time, not quite killing them all, but making them easy prey for Rayjok, Athin, and Mira. These lava four-armed bastards were followed up with a wave of flying four-armed bastards, who eventually were brought down by the party.

Meanwhile, Panamon Cree, in a rare act of bravery chased one of the bastards into a cave and robbed it of its prize, the Fire Builder, who he hauled back to the party via a Dimension Door.
