Backstory
In this business you're only as good as your last job.
It doesn’t matter how or why a newborn eladrin elf crossed over from the twilight realm of Feywild.
It doesn’t matter if your only clues to your lineage are a name, Mor Gon, that translates to "black rock" in the common tongue, and an irrefutable ancestry with black dragons.
It doesn’t matter that you grew up in an orphanage, or on the streets, or running for the gangs, or that a magical birthright conferred upon you by an exotic bloodline has shaped you into a deadly sorcerer who excels at disapearing problems for a price.
Only the job matters.
And when the job goes wrong, it doesn’t matter how well you did posing as Obsidian Black; a disconcertingly calm stage magician that used his travelling show as a cover for his nefarious business dealings.
When the job goes wrong, someone pays.
