Balagash is a small town in the northwestern region of Ortalyk, nestled in the heart of the Balagash Forest.
Government
The two principal members of the Balagash administration are the governor, Irimshik Akimi and the Captain of the Guard, Ansha Bastiga. The former, a powerful wizard in his own right and a competent administrator. The latter, a hardscrabble fighter and excellent tactician. Bastiga is largely responsible for quelling the kobold incursions which nearly left the town destroyed.
Amenities
Balagash has most of the offerings of goods and services one would come to expect from a town of its size. Venues include:
- The Stuffed Kobold: An in that will shelter upward of 20 adventurers, slake their thirst and fill their bellies. The inn features an actual stuffed kobold, which is proudly displayed as a totem to ward off these vile creatures.
Unfortunately there is no good place to get a Gin and Tonic.
