The Thirty-first Session started with the party setting sail for Anar, the capitol of the Caliphate of Ontustik. The party left the port of Asylzhan, the unofficial capitol of the Free States heading south. They calculated they could make port in the Sweardælf capitol of Kiskentay in about 4 days.
An Unexpected Sight
Off the coast of Kingdom of Kiskentay the party came upon an unexpected sight. A warship of the Ortalyk navy was travelling in the opposite direction. They hailed the ship and asked to parley. They weighed anchor and the captain of the ship, Captain Aydyn Kylyshbek of the Destiny and his retinue embarked on a rowboat and rowed over to the Dirti Nelli.
The captain explained that they had escaped the Garis by going out to sea, further than they could see the land and by luck alone, not getting lost. He did not know if any of the military heirarchy of Ortalyk had survived the fall of Karagay. He did not know if there was any Ortalyk left to fight for.
A New Ally
Panamon Cree said that he intended to push into Garis controlled waters and inflict what damage he could upon the Garis fleet. Captain Aydyn Kylyshbek agreed to follow along with the party provided that it would harass the Garis. It was not long before they were given their wish.
Kiskentay City
The party visited Kiskentay City to pick up on the local lore. A shipping clerk in the city offered a commissions for hauling grain for Diamond City and the commission was taken.
Confrontation at Sea
Emboldened by their second vessel, the party confronted a Garis corvette, one of their fast attack ships. It fired upon the Destiny doing some severe damage, but soon fell to the pelting of the two ships' mangonels.
