Hedgewind Jalinbeti was recently named the Captain of the Guard of the Balagash City Guard. From his humble origins he is perhaps the second ranking official in Balagash after the governor.
He currently resides in the Governor's Keep known as Balagash Keep from where he administers the city guard and keeps up a great deal of activity over and above his assigned duties. He is rumoured to possess wealth well beyond his current pay grade.
