Hedgewind Jalinbeti is a fledgling wizard with a proclivity for wielding flame. In a surprising turn of events in Balagash politics, he was recently named the Captain of the Guard of the Balagash City Guard. From his humble origins as a budding wizard, he is now perhaps the second ranking official in Balagash after the governor.
He currently resides in his assigned quarters at the guard's tower at Balagash Keep. There he also maintains an office from which he administers the city guard and it seems a great many other things. He maintains a great deal number of activities which greatly exceed his assigned duties. He is rumoured to possess wealth well beyond his current pay grade.
Future Aspirations
Immediately upon taking the position of Captain of the Guard, Hedgewind has dabbled with the idea of setting up a settlement in the Kiywar Territory. This will no doubt come as a shock to the boyar who maintains the territory, but will likely not meet with any resistance from local officials who are only too glad to indulge Hedgewind's enthusiasm for forward thinking politics.
Further to Hedgewind's goals, he is planning to build a new town named after himself. The town of Jalinbeti will begin construction soon.
