Kala Astanals is the capitol city of Ortalyk, home to both the local city government and the seat of power of Ortalyk. Built in concentric rings, the centermost area of the city is Ortalyk Palace, home of the reigning monarch Czar Batil Zhurek.
Government
Local administration of Kala Astanals is lead by its governor Lord Ulken Kosbassi, an appointee of the Czar. The governor of Kala Astanals has typically been appointed by dint of their administrative abilities rather than their abilities in battle, as is more common with governors away from the capitol.
