On Governing Grendel is the 16th of sixty-four Memes of Aspan which were mistakenly shared with the Otani people by Suu, the Aspanist goddess of the night. This particular meme was once thought to be in the possession of the Grendel leadership deep in Grendeland. IN recent years, particularly since the Grendel War, it has been evident that the Grendel had lost their treasures.
It is suspected, that this second of the two Memes of Aspan dedicated to the Grendel had somehow found its way into the hands of Ortalyk-based wizards.
