Kara is a settlement of 16,905 souls and the Capitol City of Kara Aydahar Region region in the Altinqor.

Government

There are two levels of government in Kara the regional capitol of Kara Aydahar Region. There is the regional government and the city government. The city government is run by Zhenis Yerbolat who wasw appointed to the position of Eldest of Kara. The Town Eldest of Kara is a position that may either be granted by the Eldest of Aydahar or through natural attrition.

The regional government is run by Lyazzat Serzhan, the Eldest of the Kara Aydahar Region. This position was granted by the Eldest of Aydahar. The regional government is responsible for levying regional taxes and raising troops for the Aydahari Military.

Amenities

Kara has a number of goods and services. Venues include:

• Kara Citadel - This mighty citadel has several functions. It serves as a stronghold for both the Town Elder of Akkuba and the Elder of Kara Aydahar Region. It also serves as a military headquarters for the Aydahari Military.
• Kara Chantry of Jormungandr - The town's primary place of worship.
• The Thirsty Human - an upscale tavern serving the latest in fashionable Aydahari food and beverages.

Factions

• Kara Militia - The Kara Militia is responsible for protecting the citizens of the settlement from threats within and without. At any given time, the Kara Militia boasts around 200 officers, typically with some degree of fighter training.

Personalities

• Lyazzat Serzhan - has been appointed to the position of Eldest of the Kara Aydahar Region. This is a position that may either be granted by the Eldest of Aydahar or through natural selection. The regional Eldest is often quite literally the eldest Aydahar in the region. They are responsible for affairs both dragon and Adahari.
• Zhenis Yerbolat - has been appointed to the position of Eldest of Kara. The Town Eldest of Kara is a position that may either be granted by the Eldest of the Kara Aydahar Region, the Eldest of Aydahar or through natural attrition. The Town Eldest is often quite literally the eldest Aydahar in the settlement.
• Zhannur Suleimen - has been appointed to the position of Eldest Officer of the Kara Militia. This is a position that may either be granted by the Town Eldest, the regional Eldest or the Eldest of the Confederation. The Eldest Officer is responsible for protecting the citizens of the settlement from threats within and without.
• Togzhan Gulnur - has been appointed to the position of Eldest Disciple of the Kara Chantry of Jormungandr, who is responsible for maintaining the words and deeds of Woden through the eyes of Jormungandr.
