Tun is the Aspanist Goddess of the Night and the most worshipped goddess of the Aspanist religion. A ziggurat has been built in her honor in every city of the Caliphate of Ontustik. Her ascendance among the Ontustiker people likely came from the many stories of her intercession in both matters of love and war, two of mankind's most energetically conducted activities. Those who offer her worship, may often utter then names of her father, mother or other Aspanist gods in the same breath, but it is Tun to whom they give worship and sacrifice.

Depictions[edit]

Tun is depicted as a beautiful Ontustiker woman, often nude, but distinguished by talons for feet and a pair of brightly painted wings. She is said to make routine visits to the enclaves of the leader of the caliphate, currently the Ninth Lotus of Aspan. Reports directly from these leaders of the Aspanist faith corroborate the stories of these depictions and thus they are cemented in the hearts and minds of the people.

Lore[edit]

It is said that Tun herself instructed the first of the priestesses of Aspan to make love to those who came to temple to sacrifice. Through love, she taught, the temple will prosper; the worshipful and penitent alike, returning regularly to give and receive love. The priestesses who perform the acts of love, consecrate and cleanse the sins of the penitent.

Tun Enters the Throne Room to Attend A Worshipper

It's said that in some cases, the spirit of Tun will enter the bodies of these priestesses, giving the penitent a benediction ensuring and afterlife in the heavens. For this reason, worshippers who have more than a few reasons to attend temple regularly, are certain never to miss out on giving up their weekly sacrifices.

Intercession[edit]

Tun is said to intercede in matters of love and war, when one party is egregiously cheated of that which they deserve, be that love, denial of love, victory or defeat. The affected party's level of faith is no guarantee of Tun's judgement. Non-worshippers might prove victorious in war with the help of Tun of their adversaries had conducted themselves in a way that had earned them defeat.

In such matters, [{Tun]] will intercede to set things to what is right, not to whom pays her the most in sacrifice. It is believed that this adherence to justice is what sets Tun apart from so many of the gods and has earned her the love of nearly every Aspanist on Otan.

Creations[edit]

Tun's only creation, and only through lore, is the creation of the Caliphate of Ontustik.
