Unlike many Ælves he is quite open to the other races, especially those with bonds with the the woods such as Sweardælf. He is used to travel and meet new people, and is usually happy to share the path with adventurers as long as they respect the balance of the nature. He doesn't kill needlessly but accepts death as part of the circle of life, and sometimes it is necessary for something or someone to die in order for something else to prosper.

Special Abilities[edit]

His specialty is moving unnoticed and unseen like a shadow in the forest, striking his targets rapidly and quietly. He is especially good at following tracks and hunting any kind of prey.

Future Aspirations[edit]

He wishes to continue to restore balance to nature anywhere he goes, following Bloncamann teachings. He is content with his nomadic life, enjoying, unlike many other Ælf, to be far from his nominal birthing place. Home is in any forest where nature is untainted.

Backstory[edit]

Athin grew up in a small community of wood Ælves, mostly focused on maintaining the forest where they lived. The religion everyone embraced in his village was the cult of Bloncamann, following his aspect of protector of the woods more than anything else. His early years were a fun series of escapades in the wilderness, learning through experience what nature is and how to live in perfect harmony with it.

As he grew up he was encouraged to dedicate himself to the Cult, but since he was of a more pragmatic nature he shied from the position of Priest and decided to serve in a more direct way. After contacting bigger temples of Bloncamann across the region, he finally managed to join Blocamann's Hands, a group dedicated to act upon the deity's will outside the local areas. They receive often orders from the high clergy, supposedly under the God's direct instruction, to check on the condition of forests pretty far from the location of the central temple. Anyone in the order has been trained to travel alone and be self sufficient at all times, instructed to embrace local cultures and understand where their intervention was needed when not investigating on a direct order of the Clergy.

Under rare circumstances Bloncamann's Hands are stationed back in their homes, usually when too old to continue their job of preserving the nature, and this case they often teach to new young Ælves the ropes of the job. Athin has been far from his folks for years, receiving at times the request to handle a situation somewhere across the world, and lately he had some leeway to continue to explore by himself.
