Buzaki's official role in the Baksism is the Baksi of Uncertainty. His less official, though arguably more important role is that of the destroyer. Uncertainty is often a precursor to death and decay. Unfortunately, it tends to be the precursor to many things good in life, which creates a dilemma for the living.
Buzaki represents the inevitability of an unpredictable fate. He is rarely depicted as evil, but humans having interactions with Buzaki tend to have famously bad outcomes. Intercession[edit]
